David Bowden, PhD, DC, MS, CES, ART, CKTP

Board certified in physiotherapy, Dr. David Bowden earned doctoral degrees in both exercise science and chiropractic medicine. He also earned a master’s degree in rehabilitation science, as well as advanced certification as a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

In addition, Dr. Bowden completed post-graduate education with advanced work in neurology, along with certifications in advanced myofascial techniques (ART), kinesiology taping (CKTP), and soft tissue injuries.

Following his post-graduate education and advanced training, Dr. Bowden served as Sports Therapy and Rehab Director with Airrosti Rehab Centers at Texas Family Medicine in Frisco, TX. At Airrosti, he worked with athletes and weekend warriors to correct neuromusculoskeletal conditions.

A native of Plano, Dr. Bowden attended both Plano Senior High and SMU. As an athlete himself, Dr. Bowden understands the athlete mentality. He played team sports for years, including playing football through the semi-pro level. He has also competed in adventure races, strongman competitions, and powerlifting. Most importantly, he has one son who is now in college on an academic and music scholarship.

Chad Rankin, DC

Clinical Director

Dr. Chad Rankin is an accomplished Chiropractor passionate about patient education in regards to handling pain, injury, and addressing all of their wellness needs. After undergoing a back surgery, Dr. Rankin was determined to live a life dedicated to ensuring others had options around managing and healing pain and injury.

Dr. Rankin achieved his Bachelors degree in Exercise Science, while playing collegiate football, from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. After moving to the great state of Texas, he achieved his Doctorate of Chiropractic and Bachelors of Science in Health and Wellness from Parker College of Chiropractic. With Dr. Rankin’s extensive training and experience, he elects to use a combination of techniques to care for his patients to relieve pain and restore optimal body function. Utilizing the expertise of the Wellness Solutions team of doctors he is able to offer medically integrated solutions to his patients ailments.

His specialties include integrated medicine, rehabilitation, nutritional counseling, orthopedic, and neurological examinations. Dr. Rankin resides in McKinney, Texas with his wife Ashley and their three sons.

Mandy Thompson, MD


Joshua Ferrell, DC

Dr. Josh Ferrell has been compassionately treating patients in the Frisco area since 2005. As a child and a young man, Dr. Ferrell suffered through his own health struggles, which has equipped him with strong compassion and understanding for his patients.

As an adolescent, Dr. Ferrell was diagnosed with severe scoliosis and debilitating headaches. Like many patients, he did exactly what his doctor told him to do, which was to treat the symptoms. This treatment of symptoms led to many other health problems. 

As your physician, Dr. Ferrell will work diligently to understand the underlying cause of your concerns, choose a treatment plan, test the effectiveness of the treatment plan, and, if it shows to be effective, he will be able to accept you as a patient.

Dr. Ferrell grew up in Dallas, attended high school at Lake Highlands High School, attended college at Midwestern State, and graduated from Parker Chiropractic College in 2004, where he made the Dean's List multiple times. 

Since graduation, Dr. Ferrell’s education has included proper scoliosis treatment, chiropractic biophysics, nutritional assessment and counseling, proper blood chemistry analysis, functional hormone training, multiple soft tissue techniques, proper Olympic lifting and weight training, and corporate wellness coaching.

Dr. Ferrell is passionate about educating his patients. He has delivered over 300 wellness lectures and has volunteered many hours to help the underprivileged achieve health. Dr. Ferrell has traveled as far as Africa to spread the message of health through lifestyle changes.

Dr. Ferrell is happily married to his wife, Rebecca, and together they have a beautiful daughter, Isabella. Dr. Ferrell’s personal hobbies include building poorly constructed furniture, traveling, working in the garden, CrossFit, and running obstacle courses.

Gregory H. Stowe, DC

Clinical Director

In December 2005, Dr. Gregory H. Stowe graduated from Kent State University with bachelor's degrees in biology and philosophy. He completed his doctorate in chiropractic medicine at Parker University, graduating in December 2010.

Dr. Stowe served as director of sports therapy and rehabilitation with Airrosti Rehab Centers at North Country Family Practice in Southlake, Texas, where he was presented an Award of Excellence for two consecutive years.

Dr. Stowe is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Florida Chiropractic Association. He has continued his post-graduate education in kinesiology taping and Carrick neurology classes.

In Dr. Stowe’s free time, he enjoys CrossFit and outdoor activities such as rock climbing, hiking, gardening, and cycling.

Ashley King, Clinical Manager

A native of Dallas, Ashley was a Medical Assistant for three years. In 2015, she was promoted to Clinical Manager. She started in a family medicine practice, and then found an opportunity with chiropractic and sports medicine here at Wellness Solutions. Ashley enjoys the methodology and practice of Dr. Stowe and Dr. Bowden, and she admires the commitment to care that each provide to patients. As a caregiver, Ashley enjoys interacting with patients and helping them recover from injury.

Ashley has her applied science degree in business and wishes to further her studies in the health care field. Outside of work, she is a fitness instructor in Frisco and likes to spend time with her family.
